Brand Philosophy

Living with Nature

Luxury furniture doesn’t really speak of a persona. While custom furniture crafted from nature emanates a sense of fluidity and movement that literally wraps itself around individual needs and tastes. These can be expressed in natural whites, browns and greens – all earthy hues that attain the natural look perfectly. Naturestyled spaces don’t benefit from too much drama. They are not designer homes. But designed for a casual laid-back setting that speaks of personality, rather than theatre. Natural, lightweight and light-toned fabrics are also key to this style. Cotton, linen and muslin work very well in neutral hues. With so many muted colours at play, a nature-styled room has a sense of roominess and space. It keeps you very close and true to nature.

The perfect imperfections of wood

Solid wood furniture has a feel of its own, its inimitable and irreplaceable. The use of wood in home furniture and décor is as diverse as the kinds of wood available. Be it a driftwood coffee table, a distressed dining table, custom solid wood chairs, a console table made from reclaimed wood or natural texture wooden candle stands; wood is beautiful in all its forms, like it is in nature.

The Journey

It was during my travels in Portugal that I came across ‘mirador’, which is Spanish for ‘a lookout with an extensive view’. To me, it meant a beacon leading a person into beauty.

While looking out at an endless ocean, I realized how our life view is so limited, unlike nature’s which is endless. We conceive of limitations in ourselves, and bring them into our lives and our homes.

Mirador, is my quest to quell these limitations. To inspire a willingness to stand out, to separate oneself from the crowd. You are who you are. You are uniquely you. So, let lose that you. Live that you.
